A woman of quiet strength (1912 - 2006)

Wow.
She`s the reason I am so blessed.
Was just giving thanks to God early December, telling Him that I am grateful for His provisions and blessings when God came to me with a reply: `Thank your Grandma. I am pleased with her and she is why I am blessing your family.` Was convicted in my spirit to go back and thank my ah mah when I go back to Singapore. (as usual i came up with all the excuses such as my lousy Hokkien and i don`t know how to pray in Chinese etc.. )
Anyway got back to Singapore 5 days before Christmas, ah mah was not looking too good and I am glad I got a chance to thank her in my broken Hokkien and pray for her (with my mum translating). Was praying for ah mah with Lirou, my cousin who is attending City Harvest in the wee hours after Christmas (4am i think on 26th Dec). Sang 'Jin Jia Hou' (真真好) the only Hokkien worship song i know how to sing, to ah mah.
Ah mah passed away at 9.47am on 26th Dec, with the pastor praying for her and everyone gathered around her, amid hymns and prayers. 94 years old.
God must have thrown a party in heavens with angels rejoicing:'Welcome back my worthy and faithful servant!'
Thank you for teaching me with your life, what it means to be a true disciple of Jesus.
I will be strong and continue on the spirit.
