Wall・E made me cry!
Yes, i know, Wall・E just premiered in theatres in sushi-land this month! Finally went to watch it :)
I thought it was cool that the dialogue was kept to a minimum, and through the adventures of these supposedly emotion-less `robots`, we see that of all that remain, the greatest of these is love. Not just romantic love, but love for fellow mankind, love for our home, love for our friends.
This universal theme of love tugged at my heartstrings so much that I silently shed a few tears. Ah, to be human and so emotional. Who said this is a kiddy movie?
The human touch can be so priceless. Have you ever held someone`s hand and tell him (her) how important he (she) is to you?

School life in sushi-land (last few months....)
This is Haruta Masae! The noisest girl in our class, everytime she is absent, the whole classroom is like soooo quiet! 虽然是很吵的si-gi-na,不过 she is one of the best player in our class. Calm and steady and dependable.

Cheese Souffle dancing on black keys~ hmm , sounds like a song title!

Summer edition green tea... with lousy yamaha keyboard for composing class.
Judging by the short sleeves, this was taken in summer.
Hada-sensei ok! Not Haneda-sensei! Haha! One of my favorite teacher, ever so patient and kind. (Did i mention he is the most generous adjudicator for our quarterly practical exams...hee)
Mizobe-sensei... although a bit ali and very often stray very far away from the topic, she is a kindly auntie teacher who has lots of experience to share with us. Translated the Bastien Party Series books into Japanese for Japan market, don`t play play hor, she even went shopping with Jane Bastien! (Those of you who learnt piano as a kid probably used a Bastien textbook somewhere along the way.. well 85% of those who learnt piano i guesstimate..)
6 hands piano during our exciting Ensemble Playing module.
A-chan`s long wavy hair..... Very natural looking hor!
Check out the scotch-tape thingy in her hair!
Hair extensions! 100% real human hair, made in China somemore *shudder*
That`s me in the examination room, playing on the ultra loud Steinway with 7 pairs of eyes staring at me and scribbling away on a checksheet, while my classmates secretly took this photo of me using their mobile phones outside the room.
Yes, this is the corridor outside the examination room...

Crazy things we do to destress! The guys are lying on the ground to show the length of the piece of music ┐( ̄▽ ̄;)┌
The wait can totally kill you, i tell you! This is the score of one of my classmate - she is playing like 20 minutes of music lor. (This was last year i think, my hair was kinda short!)

Sephora in Singapore!!! *squeals*
By Wong Siew Ying, Channel NewsAsia Posted: 11 December 2008 1832 hrs

SINGAPORE: Established French beauty and cosmetic chain Sephora is due to open its first Southeast Asian store at Orchard Road, Singapore's prime shopping belt on December 19.
The beauty and cosmetic chain has about 1,000 stores in 24 countries. It sees Singapore as a launch pad into India and Malaysia in the future.
The company is bullish about prospects despite the challenging economic outlook.
Ravi Thakran, president, South, Southeast Asia & Australia/New Zealand, Sephora, said: "Singapore gives me a great level of confidence because in the past crisis, Singapore was the first country to bounce back and I still believe very strongly in the vibrancy of Singapore - be it the policy initiatives or the zeal of the people."
Work is underway to prepare its 3,200 square feet shop at Ngee Ann City, one of the major malls along Orchard Road.
The S$2 million outlet will carry over 100 brands, of which one-third will be new to Singapore.
Sephora said its modular retail concept will provide flexibility to cater to changing needs which will give it an upper hand over beauty counters at departmental stores.
Mr Ravi Thaknan added: "Each brand doesn’t have to have a fixed shop which is difficult to change or renovate only once in a year or two years. The whole system in Sephora works like there is a modular wall system and a modular gondola system. With that, it's very easy for us to plug in or plug out a mix of products."
Come next year, Sephora plans to open two to three stores in Singapore and it's currently in talks with new and existing shopping malls.
Sephora also hopes to reach out to a wider segment of consumers.
For instance, it said its stores elsewhere tend to attract 3.5 times more younger consumers and five times more men compared to its competitors.
French luxury group LVMH is teaming up with Singapore-listed retailer RSH Limited in a joint venture to roll out the Sephora stores.
The issued capital is S$4.3 million with LVMH holding a 60 per cent stake. - CNA/vm

Angels We Have Heard On High - Corrinne May
This is my favourite Christmas song (*^-゚)vィェィ♪
==============================================
Angels we have heard on high
Sweetly singing o’er the plains,
And the mountains in reply
Echoing their joyous strains.
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Shepherds, why this jubilee?
Why your joyous strains prolong?
What the gladsome tidings be
Which inspire your heavenly song?
Come to Bethlehem and see
Christ Whose birth the angels sing;
Come, adore on bended knee,
Christ the Lord, the newborn King.
See Him in a manger laid,
Whom the choirs of angels praise;
Mary, Joseph, lend your aid,
While our hearts in love we raise.
