夏と言えば、浴衣だ！ 納涼礼拝２００８~

Every summer at Shinjuku Shalom Church, we have a special service: 納涼礼拝 where everyone wears their yukata (cotton kimono worn in summer) and then we go to our 別館and have a mini matsuri (food and fun fair thingy).

We sang a new song, the Okinawa sounding happy song you can hear on this website now, there`s Kei-chan on the 三味線、very authentic cos Kei-chan is from Okinawa! So is the cool guy in black jinbei but funny slippers. haha!
This was the special summer service in 2007 that I went with Charles! Can you spot me? Wasn`t wearing my 浴衣then...

Then we have the tambourine dance team perform a Japanese worship dance item.

夏天当然要吃刨冰啦！Ayano-chan who is in a green yukata, from my cell group, helping out Mago-chan (the 金城武lookalike) and the guys!

舞美chan, very lovely name, she is the daughter of 'Jackie Chan lookalike Uncle' who is a very 厉害 musician who passed us the Magic of Love CD when we did the show in 2005!

GuitarKing- Hiromichi!!! Such a sweet guy i tell you... a man after God's heart and a very passionate teacher who teaches agriculture at High School. 好人！

The 2 Naoko in our church, so we call them Inao-chan and Konao-chan, to avoid confusion! See, sushi rice is almost sold out!

With Pastor Shingo and his wife Hisae-chan, who is also my cell leader. Thank God for both of them, my accountability `parents` while i am here in sushi-land.

Inao-chan, my cell leader but she is a nurse and therefore sometimes on duty on Sunday, which is why i have 2 cell leaders. We call her 正妹！Her dream is to go Hawaii and attend Bible college.
She is a great inspiration to me!

Decided to go against my dentist`s advice and have a go at the Japanese ice-kacang. The blue syrup that i am holding in my hand is `Blue Hawaii`, who knows what Hawaii tastes like? That`s Kayo-chan`s Dad, beaming at the camera. Hi Uncle! Mago-chan looks dazed from shaving too much ice~

Colorful Summer! Sayonara soon.....在日本的最后一个多姿多彩的夏天，就要划上休止符了。。。


两个佚游未尽的新加坡人。。。

第一次自己穿浴衣，原来it is not as difficult as it seems to be! 穿上去后，很有满足感！日本人都说能自己穿很厉害，要谢谢郑小欣的教导！

又爱又恨的夏天。。。炎热的天气叫人喘不过气来，不过夏天却是和好朋友一起去郊游，穿浴衣看烟花的快乐季节！爱穿拖鞋乱跑的新加坡小妞，对natsu真的是有矛盾的心理...

明年就要回到全年是夏的新加坡了。。。没有matsuri可以逛，没有人陪我穿浴衣，没有纳凉礼拜可以参加。。。想到这些。。失落感。。。。

大家快归队，到我家阳台吃月饼啦～さみしいなああ！！！！秋もうすぐ来るよ！

（ps:笔者目前处于水生火热中，所以有点不寻常。。哈哈！）
