Totally random ranting... (on food...)

I love macarons! In the land of epicureans (the sushi-landers), I get to choose from authentic français version from haute pâtisseries (yes, in consumerism-consumed sushiland!) or innovated `jappy` version ;)

These two macarons are from Fauchon, a salon de thé, who is up there with Mariage Frères.

Tried the ones at Canele when i was back in merlion-land (the shop with the best macarons according to a 8days article). Time to check out Pierre Hermé at Omotesando and Jean-Paul Hévin... *excited*

Yes.. these are semi-chao-dar-ed rice balls... more commonly known as `dan-go` (団子）in sushi-land. Am addicted to these recently. I know.. high in carbs. According to my teacher, carbs are good for concentration power. I need power to work on my piano pieces mah ;p

Ahh... limited edition for autumn.. roasted tea. i like.
